Our story
Honesdale Mercantile exists to honor Honesdale, PA, our hometown and a real-life version of a Norman Rockwell painting. From the picturesque landscape seen from high atop Irving Cliff to the country roads in Wayne County where dairy farms go for miles, there is a community where generations of families have settled and thrived. People know one another, their parents and usually their grandparents as well. It is the spirit of this community that inspires us.
Honesdale Mercantile is proud to share a portion of sales from certain products with local organizations. Some of these organizations include Dessin Animal Shelter and the Wayne County Historical Society.
